It informed the health officers on the understanding of women of childbearing age regarding natural family planning. Among the objectives was to determine the level of knowledge of women of childbearing age attending the general outpatient department of General Hospital Ilorin on Natural Family Planning and to determine the attitude of women of child bearing age attending General outpatient department of General Hospital Ilorin towards Natural Family Planning. Furthermore, to determine the level of practice of NFP among women of childbearing age attending the general outpatient department of General Hospital Ilorin. Many medical and allied literatures were reviewed to develop more facts for the project work. This research use descriptive survey to sample women of childbearing age in the study area. Questionnaire is the instrument used to gather and analyze the data, 100 questionnaires were distributed out of which 100 were also retrieved. In conclusion, recommendations were made that every woman of marriageable age should be educated on the utilization of NPF method as a form of family planning and women who face challenges with the utilization of natural family planning (NFP) should be provided with opportunities to express their challenges and measures should be taken to help them.
