In conclusion, it is believed that there are many digital information resources currently available worldwide including many reference materials in machine-preferable format. Information and communication technology (ICT) are very important tools in academic libraries which enhance teaching, learning, study and research as such their use is important in the libraries of higher institutions of learning. Most modern approach to communication and its use of information requires that computer be linked together for the exchange of message and information as well as access to data sources. The following recommendations were based on the finding of the study.
