The broad objective of the study was to carry out a survey on the impact of online fraud committed in the cause of reservation in the Hospitality Industry with special reference to Nasarawa Luxury Hotel, Lafia. Other specific objectives were to find out whether online fraud has been committed in the cause of reservation in Nasarawa Luxury Hotel, Lafia, to determine various ways online fraud is perpetrated in the hospitality Industry, to examine the impact of online fraud in the Hospitality Industry and to suggest ways of prevention of online fraud in the Hospitality Industry. The research was survey descriptive in nature, the sample size used for the study was 120 respondents who are employees of Nasarawa luxury hotel, Lafia, which was determined using random sampling techniques. Data was collected using primary method of data collection i.e via a structured questionnaire and was analyzed using statistical tables and simple percentage frequency. Literature was also reviewed to support the claims made at the beginning of the study. Findings from the study revealed that Nasarawa luxury hotel has never experienced online fraud committed in the course of reservation. Findings from the study also revealed that fraudulent behaviour might cause a hotel organization to lose a devoted customer’s confidence.
