This investigative Work with the title Audience Perception on the Role of the Outside Broadcast Van (OB-VAN) on the Television Coverage of Live political events A study of NTA Benin was orchestrated to empirically validate the impact of live broadcasting of political events on the people and the polity. The study adopted the survey research method. The instrument of data collection was the questionnaire. The researcher distributed 100 and 90 were properly filled and returned. The findings of the study include, that OB-Van has enhanced the speedy delivery of political information, that OB-Van is used by NTA on a daily basis to gather information, live coverage of political campaigns, elections and other political events reduced political violence to a large extent. The study further recommended that media planners and the media management should not abuse the OB-Van, Outside broadcasting equipment should be maintained and staff should be trained....
