The researcher used a wristwatch to observe the arrival and treatment of in-patients for 25 working days of the hospital and a time duration of 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The queuing model is used to analyze the data which reveals that the probability that the system is busy or engaged is 0.80. The average time an in-patient spends in the system and queue is 12 minutes and 9 minutes 6 seconds respectively which implies that an in-patient is not served immediately within the short range of time.
