The study made use of an experimental design in which two secondary schools were used with a sample of three hundred (300) science students. One hundred and fifty (150) male students and one hundred and fifty (150) female students, ninety (90) students represent large class, forty (40) students represent medium class and, twenty (20) students for small class size in both males and females schools. Biology Achievement Test (BAT) was used for the students (Respondents). Two (2) research questions were generated to guide the investigation. Also, two (2) hypotheses were postulated and tested at 0.05 level using T-test and descriptive statistics (Mean and Standard Deviation). The findings revealed that students? performance in Biology improved as class size decreased. There was no significant difference in the performance of male and female students irrespective of the class size. However, there is a significant difference in the performance of male and female students in Biology.
