Abstract
This study aims to comprehensively assess the knowledge and involvement of fathers in pre and postnatal care among male workers. With the increasing recognition of the vital role that fathers play in the overall well-being of both mothers and infants, it is crucial to understand the knowledge and engagement among our population. By conducting a thorough examination, this research aims to shed light on the current state of paternal knowledge and involvement in pre and postnatal care. This includes assessing their knowledge of pre and postnatal care, to determine the extent of their involvement and to identify the factors that influence their involvement. Additionally, the study will recommend strategies for improving the involvement of male workers such as engaging them actively in the program, creating a welcoming environment supporting breastfeeding, and providing emotional and practical support during the postpartum period. The findings from this study will contribute valuable insights into the gaps in newborns' challenges faced by fathers in their involvement in pre and postnatal care. This knowledge can serve as a foundation for developing targeted interventions and educational programs to enhance paternal engagement and support during this critical phase of parenthood. Ultimately, the goal is to promote a more holistic and inclusive approach to pre and postnatal care that recognizes and supports the active role of fathers. By empowering fathers with knowledge and fostering their involvement, we can create a nurturing environment that benefits the well-being of both parents and their newborns...
