The custom role of youth in socio-economic development in Kogi state was limited to casual work activities. To correct these problems, my aim is to embark on this research to point out the problems and prospects of youth in Kogi state. In an attempt to solve the above problem, several important works of literature were reviewed. Moreover, self-designed questionnaires were sent out together with oral interview which was conducted.
