The study specifically examined how compensation, medical coverage, and allowances affect employee performance. The study used questionnaires to collect primary data from selected private schools in Ado Ekiti. The data was estimated using simple percentages and frequency techniques. The study revealed that compensation, allowances and medical cover have a significant effect on employees’ performance taking into consideration all three schools used as case studies. The study concluded that employees’ welfare has a significant effect on employee performance based on the area of study. The study thus, recommended that the researcher should inculcate the habit of supervising it perhaps because of the uncooperative attitude of the respondents, respondents relating questions of income with taxation and Statistical Packages for the Social Sciences should be often used when working on questionnaire-based research for easy analysis of data.
