Previous studies relevant to the study were reviewed. The survey research design was used in the study. Equal number of teachers and pupils were interviewed through the use of questionnaire. The influence of lateness on the academic achievements of Pupils in Primary schools was developed by the researcher and use for data analysis. Three hypotheses were formulated for the study and tested using simple percentage method. The result indicated that lateness to work by teachers has a significant influence on the academic achievements of teachers and pupils. And location, psychological effects, and gender all affect achievements. It was recommended that accommodation for teachers to be in school on time to begin instruction. Teachers should continue to have a good interpersonal relationship with their Pupils such as finding out about their academic progress.
