Abstract
This study investigated the effectiveness of interpersonal behaviour and organizational effectiveness in the public sector, Rivers State. Individual behaviour is a complicated and complex concept. It is affected by psychological factors such as perception, learning, personality and motivation. However, the following objectives were formulated To ascertain the communication skills between employees, employers in the ministry of education and the public To ascertain interpersonal relationships between employees, employers and the public To determine leadership role played by the directors in the ministry of education and To evaluate different levels of efficiency between the employees and employers in the ministry of education. The study had a population of 200, out of which a sample size of 150 was realized using Taro Yamane to determine the sample size. Instrument used for data collection was primarily questionnaire. 150 copies of questionnaire were distributed and collected. The survey research method was adopted for the study while Chi square was used for analysis. The research was concluded and recommendations also were made....
