The problem of this study is that inadequate rewards are being given to employees and it has led to dissatisfaction. The objective of the study is to examine the role of the reward system and how it affects employee performance. The methodology that was used to elicit data and information includes the questionnaire method and personal interview. Percentages were used to describe the data obtained while the use of simple linear regression was used to test the hypothesis. The findings reveal that there is a significant relationship between a good reward system and employee performance.
