Data were collected from primary and secondary sources and analyzed using a simple percentage and chi-square method. The population of the study is one hundred and sixty (160) out of which one hundred and fourteen (114) were selected as the sample size. The discussion of finding revealed Good financial record keeping improved the profitability of small business organizations and those financial record keeping contributes to the growth and expansion of the business organization. The researcher made some recommendations that small-scale business operator units should ensure that complete and accurate business records are kept because they are essential for decision making.
