The study focused on reward system and organizational productivity: an impact assessment using First Bank Plc as the case Study.  The objective of the study is to examine whether reward system has a positive impact on organizational productivity and to investigate if reward system can be used to maintain organizational staff.  The researcher used survey method of research design, primary and secondary data were used which includes the use of questionnaires for data collection. The population of the study comprises the management and staff of First Bank Plc, Lokoja which is sixty (60)and the sample size fifty-two (52) was determined using Tairo Yamani’s formula. And chi-square method was used to test the statement of the hypothesis earlier formulated. On this note, the findings revealed that reward system has a positive impact on organizational productivity and that rewards system can be used to maintain organizational staff. To this end, it was recommended that the management should keep on giving incentives at the appropriate time and not delay them in order not to lessen the goal of the incentives. Workers on their part should not look at work merely as an impersonal exchange for money but, should consider it as satisfying as play. ...
