It informed the health officers on the understanding of female students regarding breast-self examination. Among the objectives is to assess the level of knowledge of breast self-examination among female students in Government Day Secondary School and to identify the attitude of female students toward breast self-examination in Government Day Secondary School. Furthermore, to identify the level of practice of breast self-examination among female students at Government Day Secondary School. This research uses descriptive survey to sample female students attending Government Day Secondary School. Questionnaire is the instrument used to gather and analyze the data, 133 questionnaires were distributed out of which 121 were retrieved. In conclusion, recommendations were made that it is important that breast self-examination should be included in the curriculum so as to improve the level of knowledge, attitude and practice of breast self-examination. Also, it is vital that they practice breast self-examination monthly so as to know the normal shape of the breast and detect any abnormalities in the breast. So, however, students should be ready to practice breast self-examination.
