It informed the health officers on the understanding of adolescents in schools regarding sexual abuse factors in the school. Among the objectives was to assess the level of knowledge of adolescents about sexual abuse factors in Government Day Secondary School Kulende, Ilorin, Kwara state and to identify the perceived factors responsible for sexual abuse in Government Day Secondary school kulende, Ilorin, Kwara state. Furthermore, to assess the perception of adolescents about the prevention of sexual abuse Government Day Secondary school kulende, Ilorin, Kwara state. Many medical and allied literatures were reviewed to develop more facts for the project work. This research uses descriptive survey to sample adolescents attending Government Day Secondary School Kulende, Ilorin, Kwara State. Questionnaire is the instrument used to gather and analyze the data, 195 questionnaires were distributed out of which 195 were also retrieved. In conclusion, recommendations were made that the Ministry of Education should ensure that sex education is an integral part of the school curriculum. Sex education should consist of more than just anatomical and physiological information, rather, adolescents should obtain more in-depth knowledge about sex and sexual abuse.
