Three research questions guided the study. The research design was a survey. The population of the study comprised all students in the study area. Questionnaire was the instrument used for data collection. Data collected was analyzed using simple table and percentage. The study found that the majority of the respondents (48%) indicated that the textbooks used by Physical Health Education teachers develop my interest to learn and perform better. The result of the analysis also showed that the majority of the respondents (48%) indicated that the direct method of Teaching develop my interest to teach physical education. The result of this study also revealed that the majority of the respondents (48%) indicated that there is a lack of integration of physical education into the school curriculum. Based on the findings, the study recommended that A good teacher must have a strong passion for teaching and expert knowledge of physical education pedagogy. It is important that Physical Education teachers to regularly support student relatedness in order to foster more positive experiences in PE classes.
