The study adopts survey as its research method. One hundred respondents from the sample size of the study. The 5-point Likert scale (strongly agree, agree, undecided, strongly disagree and disagree) was used to generate data for the study. Findings show that the majority of the hotels are aware of the benefits of using advertising for business promotion, hence they use it as a promotional tool: television is the most potent medium of hotel advertisement, followed by radio and newspaper, advertising has a significant effect on the patronage of hotel services in Asaba.
