Abstract
This research work examined the effect of fringe benefits on employees’ performance in the United Bank of Africa (UBA) Plc Nasarawa branch. The employees are expected to be diligent in the performance of their work. The organization may give special preference to a group of employees with a specific target, which will motivate them to achieve the organization's target. This will also examine the effect of fringe benefits on employee performance. The data collected were presented in tables using frequencies and percentages and analysed. The hypotheses were tested using the SPSS chi-square distribution formula. The findings included that transport allowance has a positive relationship with the performance of workers of United Bank of Africa Plc, bonus paid has a significant effect on the performance of workers of United Bank of Africa Plc and educational facilities have a significant effect on the performance of workers of United Bank of Africa Plc. The researcher concluded that fringe benefits have a positive effect on workers’ performance and it was recommended that management of the UBA Plc, the transport facilities should be provided to staff to ease their movement to the office, the management should continue to assure employees of their job security, their skills and capacities. Bonuses should be given to employees who show exceptional contributions to the achievement of UBA Plc objectives....
