In a dynamic business environment characterized by technological shifts, market competition, and policy reforms, effective change management is essential for organizational survival and growth. The research aimed to examine the relationship between change management practices—such as employee involvement, leadership commitment, communication, and resistance management—and profitability indicators like productivity, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. The study adopted a descriptive survey design, using structured questionnaires distributed to employees of two selected organizations: Rainoil Limited (Asaba Depot) and Westend Hospital (Warri). A total of 109 respondents participated in the study. Data were analyzed using simple statistical tools (frequencies and percentages) and the Chi-square test for hypothesis testing. The results revealed that structured change initiatives positively affect organizational profitability. Notably, employee involvement and leadership commitment were significant predictors of successful change outcomes. The findings further indicated that resistance to change, when not properly managed, can hinder the effectiveness of change processes. The study concludes that change management practices have a direct and statistically significant impact on organizational profitability. It recommends inclusive leadership, effective communication, and alignment of change initiatives with organizational goals as critical strategies for successful implementation.
