Automated assessment and analysis of novice programmer code submission Department: Computer Science By: jaymeg Project ID: 8882 Rating: (5.0) votes: 1Rate this project12345 Price:₦5000 Get the Complete MaterialAbstractSince computers have become much more popular recently, alongside the advent of programming classes, beginner programmers are becoming tenfold, and the review of submitted programming work is becoming increasingly difficult, creating new challenges for teachers. Manual grading, while feasible, is difficult and does not fit the rising global trend of integration and automation. This project is primarily focused on the development of an automated grading system. Using static and dynamic assessment techniques, the system measures several factors, such as program efficiency, coding standards, programming styles, and overall"correctness." The system also provides personalized automated feedback, which helps learners see their procedural errors and develop corrective measures. This feedback mechanism employs machine learning and rule-based approaches to ensure that repeated mistakes and patterns are visible to the learner. The system offers both fairness and objectivity while also contributing to formative learning. It allows system administrators to capture emerging patterns from the provided feedback. The automated assessment system reduces grading time significantly, offers higher quality feedback, and provides student behavioral analytics. The system's ability to work with different programming languages and curricula also makes it a useful tool for a wide range of educational settings. The results indicate that automated assessment can reconcile the disparity between rising student enrollment and constrained teaching resources, ultimately enhancing educational outcomes. This project helps improve programming education by providing a scalable, efficient, and learner-centered way to grade code submissions from new programmers. It also encourages ongoing skill development and deeper engagement in the learning process....Preview Download Preview +Other Computer Science project topics and materials you might be interested in»Design and Implementation of digital library system»Design and Implementation of a Virtual E-Learning System ( Case study of Lagos State University)»Design and Implementation of Student Project Management and Allocation System»Design and Implementation of online cash receipt generating system for a supermarket»Design and Implementation of a Software Result Processing and Transcript Generation System»Design and Implementation of computerized hospital database management system»Design and Implementation of a Hotel Database Management System and Service ( A Case Study of Winter Suites and Hotels, Owerri)»Design and Implementation of Online Birth and Death Registration System»Design and Implementation of Online Clearance System»Design and Implementation of Loan Management System with SMS Notification»Design and Implementation of Computerized Staff Record Department»Design and Implementation of Cyber Cafe Security»Design and Implementation of N.Y.S.C Posting System ( A case study of N.Y.S.C Enugu)»Design and Implementation of a Computerized Fraud Detection in a Bank»Design and Simulation of a Secured Wireless Network
