It specifically tackles the influence of Western movie on Nigeria students in Tertiary institution. The research posits that the current trends in moral behaviour of students as observed among Federal Polytechnic students, Imo state is significantly associated with their perception of western moral and exposure to western movies. The assumption that foreign media content has directed powerful effects is shared by optimistic modernization theory. From the review of related literature, the following hypothesis emerged for testing. HI: more exposure to movies will tend to the identification of western movie stars as models: The improvement of local movies industries will increase. Nigerian students preference for local movie product.
