For these reasons, the establishment of the broadcast stations in Nigeria, Hot F.M and Heartland F.M, for instance, was raised. The disparities in media function thus formed the study on The Role of Broadcast Station in the campaign against drug abuse in Nigeria (A case study of Hot f.m and Heartland f.m). Research questions were formulated, the chi-square statistical approach was used to test the research questions after questionnaires were administered to 100 respondents. The research questions received statistical support showing that people received information about drug abuses more on l-lot f.m, followed by the heartland f.m.
