It is based on this note that research was carried out to know whether cost management techniques play a greater role in the overall performance of the organization with reference to PZ Cussons plc (Abuja). Relevant data were analyzed through the use of the chi-square method the hypothesis was tested at 95% level of significance. The major finding is that the application of cost management techniques is vastly used in manufacturing industries.
