The study adopted a survey method and the research instrument employed was a structured questionnaire. Some of the effective strategies revealed by the study includes amongst others that firstly Basic Technology teachers should make effective use of instructional materials in teaching the subject, also that the Basic Technology Teachers should be a master of their subject while on the part of government, it was established that Government should provide sufficient tools and equipment’s for the teaching of the subject.
