This study examines the relationship between organizational reward system and employee performance with Benue State Internal Revenue Service, Makurdi as a study organization. The main problem of the study was that organizational reward system which entails compensation, employees’ benefits and recognition affects or influences employees’ performance of Benue State Internal Revenue Center in Makurdi, Benue state. The population of the study comprised 205 employees of the study organization. A sample size of 136 respondents was drawn from the study population. Questionnaire was the main method of data collection. The data collected were analyzed using the techniques of Pearson product moment correlation analysis. The study concludes that there is a relationship between organizational reward systems and employee performance. It was recommended among others that benefit scheme should be provided to employees in order to stimulate their performance in organizations. ...
