To guide this study, six research questions were raised and tested. The design of the study was survey design. The samples of the study consisted of four mixed secondary schools, 50 students. The major findings of the study include: Students’ perception of how the biological garden affects teaching and learning of biology in F.C.E Kano, Biology teacher’s utilization of the garden with reference to the teaching of biology, it was found out that Students are motivated to learn biology by performing biology practical in the biological garden. It was finally recommended that: Each institution should construct a standard biological garden for use in the teaching and learning process. If possible, the garden should be specialized i.e. separate construction of botanical garden and zoological garden. Efforts should be made to acquire the necessary plant species for the garden.
