To guide this study, three research questions were raised and tested. The design of the study was descriptive design. The sample of the study consisted of fifty (50) respondents using random sampling technique. The major findings of the study include: negligence of parent, broken family, and competition is part of the causes of prostitution in Fagge local government the biggest effect of prostitution in Fagge Local Government Area, Kano state is unwanted pregnancy and miscarriage also it was found out that marriage is the way that will stop prostitution in Fagge local government area Kano state.
