Jatropha curcas seed extract was obtained by using methanol. The plant extract was prepared into different concentrations of 1w/v, 2w/v, 3w/v and were compared for their relative bioactivity against Callosobruchus maculates adult and larva in the laboratory at temperature, 29OC and the parameters assessed were mortality and rate of oviposition of Callosobruchus maculates on the treated beans.
