(a case study of SabonGari ward in Gusau local government area of Zamfara state). Data were collected using questionnaire method and the results were analyzed using simple, statistics method. From the findings, it was recommended that the government should provide or organize educational programs that will improve and mobilize members of the society (Public) to identify the symptoms of nutritional deficiency, facilitating early diagnosis and timely treatment. Government should also try and distribute more vaccines and other protective devices.
