The scope of the study is the department of secretarial administration of Tai Solarin University of Education making use of student and staff of the department of secretarial administration of Tai Solarin University of Education, Chomsky’s Universal Grammar Model was used as a framework. The research design used for this study is survey, the population targeted for this study consists of student and staff of the department of secretarial administration of Tai Solarin University of Education, a total of 300student and staff was used as sample size, 300 questionnaires administered to students and staffs and cluster sampling technique was applied. Instrument used for this study is the questionnaire. Data collected were collected from primary sources. From the analysis of the data, the findings shows that the level of student performance in the department of secretarial administration of Tai Solarin University of Education is average, there exists a relationship between infrastructural facilities and student performance, provision of infrastructural facilities is a major strategy to improving student performance. Following the findings, it was recommended that the level of students’ performance in schools should be raised, various strategies that will help raise the level of students’ performance in schools should be adopted such as the provision of adequate infrastructural facilities.
