The objectives of this study were examined to the nature of human resource management in Nigeria bottling company PLC, Owerri plant, examine the impact of human resource management on achieving organizational goals in Nigeria bottling company PLC, Owerri plant, identify the challenges facing human resource management in Nigeria bottling company PLC, Owerri plant. The scope of the study is Nigeria bottling company PLC, Owerri plant in 2020 making use of the staff workers, Theory X and Y was used as a framework. The research design used is survey, the population size for this study consists of all the staff of Nigeria bottling company PLC, Owerri plant. 400 workers were used as sample size and cluster sampling technique was applied. Questionnaire was used as instrument of data collection. Data were collected from primary sources. From the analysis of the data, the findings show that human Resource Management has a significant effect on the achievement of organizational goals, regular change of directors, ineffectiveness constitutes a major challenge to Human Resource Management Following the findings, it was recommended that effective human resource management should be encouraged, challenges hindering effective human resource management should be stopped.
