Nsukka Local Government council of Enugu State is used as a case study. In doing this, both primary and secondary sources of data were utilized, while simple random sampling technique was used. At the end of the entire study, it was realized that women played significant roles in community development especially in the areas of political, economic, families and socio-cultural development.
