Computerization of health information can be defined as a system of storing patients' health information into a computer system which helps in the adequate protection of health information. The research work was carried out among the health workers in the area of study and the purpose was to ascertain the effect of lack of health information computerization in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State. Targeted population was one hundred and twenty (120) respondents, and stratified sampling techniques was used. Instrument for data collection was self-structure questionnaire which was closed-ended questions and was distributed among medical and health record workers in Ilorin West Local Government Area, but one hundred and sixteen (116) questionnaires were retrieved out of the administered one hundred and twenty (120)copies which was been administered. The questionnaires consist of two sections, section A and section B section A, which consists of the respondents’ personal data, and section B is based on the researched questions. Data collected were been analyzed using a frequency distribution table. The outcome of the study shows that the health record workers and medical staff have the same opinion.
