The significance of the study was discussed in chapter one of this work. The second chapter deals with various works of literature relating to the research topic. The literature review covers the definition, causative agent, and incubation period of cholera, signs and symptoms, factors leading to causes of cholera, effects of cholera in human health, diagnosis, method of prevention and control, challenges facing methods of prevention and control, treatment of cholera. Third chapter deals with the following: methodology, research design, historical background of the study area, sample and sampling techniques, research instrument, method of data collection, method of data analysis, ethical consideration. The only data collection instrument used was structured questionnaires.
