Abstract
The study aimed at providing a comparative evaluation of the profile of bakery products, specifically, Spices and Emu bakery bakeries in Otefe. The study in this regard examined the preferences of either product, the reason for preferences and thus determine the factors that yield the high profile of a bakery. Using simple weighted mean and bar chart, the result indicated that most people prefer to consume Spices bakery product and the preference is due to its price, availability of sizes, uniqueness in taste, freshness and moistness of the bread products. The study concludes that consumers in Otefe ascribe a high profile to Spices Bakery Bread product since they prefer to consume Spices product than Emu and this resulted in the increasing demand for Spices irrespective of the increment in the price of the product. ...
