This study is an application that helps keep birth information. The aim of this research is to develop a birth registration system that will help/support the hospital in carrying out the demotion process. The objectives of the research are to develop a system that will enhance effectiveness and efficiency by reducing work intensity, make work less tedious, enhance speed optimization and reduced the use of paper. The tool used for the development of the proposed system is Visual Basic 6.0 programming language and Microsoft access 2007 version, the methodology used is the spiral model. The challenges of the manual system were poor performance experienced during information retrieval, the current system makes it hard to carry out birth registration effectively.
