The instrument of questionnaires was utilized to capture the relevant data for the study. Using the binary logistic regression and odds ratio test, the result indicated that the income level of women reportedly had a negative influence on the chances of domestic violence. Also, the analysis revealed that the income status of women does not have any significant influence on influencing the chances of domestic violence among women. The test for model adequacy using the Nagelkerke R-square indicated that the fitted model is only 41% which implies inefficiency of the explanatory variable in predicting the dependent variable. The wald statistic indicated that the fitted model is inadequate with a p-value greater than 0.05.
