Notwithstanding, the current trend of Cybercrime facilitate the need for an enhanced fingerprint application on ATM machine which will decrease the rate of financial fraud and theft. The mechanism is intended to enable assigned fingerprint authentication of customers with quick code and secret code. The study aims at enhancing the security authentication of customers using ATMs. A core controller using fingerprint recognition system of ATM in-system program is explored. A fingerprint module is used to capture fingerprints with an enhanced processor and an optical sensor for verification. Upon system testing of capable reduction of ATM fraud using fingerprint authentication, the proposed system of authentication is presented.
