The main objective of this project is to curb the rate of crime that has been affecting the use of ATMs in our society. This deficiency in the security of ATM systems was what led to a better security system being developed. A multifactor authentication system in ATM has been developed in this research which comprises of what you know (PIN), what you have (OTP) and who you are (face). The PIN which is a combination of four digits numbers will be given by the bank with the ATM card whereby the users can change at any time, The OTP will be sent to the user’s phone with the help of the Clickatell API. The face detection and recognition aspects will be implemented with the use of the Viola-Jones Algorithm. This research was implemented using C# as the frontend and MySQL was used for the database.
