It informed the health officers on the effect of malnutrition among children. Among the purpose of the study is to increase the awareness of mothers on food and nutritional problems. Furthermore, to highlight the educate mothers on the potential food resources and help to eliminate misguide customs. Many medical and allied works of literature were reviewed to develop more facts for the project work. This research used descriptive survey to sample 200 staff of Patigi LGA, Kwara state. Questionnaire is the instrument used to gather and analyze the data, 200 questionnaires were distributed out of which 200 were retrieved. In conclusion, recommendations were made that the Kwara State Government should make all babies breastfeEd for at least eighteen months because breast milk is very important for our children.
