Among the objectives is to ascertain whether age has anything to do with substance abuse, to ascertain whether family background has anything to do with substance abuse, to determine the level of knowledge of adolescents about substances abuse, to identify different types of substances that adolescent’s abuse and to determine the frequency of substance abuse among adolescent. Many medical and allied literatures were reviewed to develop more facts for the project work. This research used descriptive survey to sample 120 students of select schools. Questionnaire is the instrument used to gather and analyze the data, 120 questionnaires were distributed out of which 120 were retrieved.
