The purpose of the project is to solve the book and file storage problem in the lecturer’s office. It started with the design of the shelf to suit the office. Then materials were listed out and a market survey was conducted to determine the cost of producing the shelf. The materials were purchased, processed and the finished bookshelf came out fine and beautiful. Precautionary measures are taken while constructing the bookshelf at the workshop as regard safety rules in the workshop.
