In Nigeria, land ownership can be classified into two main classes public lands and private lands. Public lands are lands that are vested by the government for public use. Private lands are those owned by customary communities and those owned by private individuals. Due to these aims such as Lack of planned of lands e.g. land size, land location, landowners, land use information, destruction of lives and property due to the cost of information. This study develops an automated land information system that can easily be used to access a land information system for the process of becoming a landowner in the selected area as the case which at the same time allows all citizens of the area to know the basic law behind lands. The following scripting languages were employed: PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
