The objectives of the study were to find how AKBC radio effectiveness help in achieving sustainable development in Ini Local Government Area, to find out the extent that AKBC radio brings about sustainable development and to ascertain if AKBC radio provides effective programs toward achieving sustainable development in Ini Local Government Area and research questions were formulated to guide the study. The survey method was used for the study, which employed the questionnaire instrument to 390 respondents from the total population using systematic sampling techniques. Frequency distribution tables and simple percentages were used in presenting and analyzing the data, findings show that radio effectiveness in achieving sustainable development in Ini Local Government Area influences residents negatively because not all the residents have access to AKBC radio set. It was concluded that AKBC radio, like other forms of mass media, mobilizes, informs educates, entertains and acts as a channel. For the dissemination of information so that society can have ideas about the do’s and don’t at a particular period.
