Abstract
This study was specifically on the impact of training and manpower developments on workers'' productivity. The importance of human resources in an organization cannot be overemphasized. Every organization depends more on these resources for the attainment of its objective. Therefore, managers adopt manpower training and development as various strategies to enhance employees’ capabilities. In light of the above, this work is divided into 5 chapters, chapter one highlights the introductory part, statement of the problem objectives of the study, research question, hypothesis, significance, scope limitation and definition of terms. Chapter two focused on literature review which across introduction, meaning and definition of training, training needs, types of training, definition and meaning of development reason for staff training, problems of training and development, time impact of training and development of workers performance, summary of related literature review. While chapter three is concerned with research methodology and design, introduction, research design sources and design sources and methods of data collection, population for the study and sample instrument used. Chapter four deals with data presentation, analysis and interpretation, introduction, divided into appropriate, subdividing/classification. Chapter five deals with the summary of findings, conclusion, recommendations, areas for future research bibliography/reference appendix (ICES)....
