The purpose and objective of this study are to investigate and report on the relevance of the Nigerian Stock Exchange to the banking reforms at large. What this means is that appraisal will be made on the role and potential of the Nigerian Stock Exchange towards mobilization and financing resources to stimulate economic growth and development through the banking operation. However, this research work will be made up of five chapters with chapter one discussing the introduction, i.e. the general overview of the study. Chapter two will take a detailed look at the literature review with subheadings. Meanwhile, chapter three will be about the research methodology and design applied in the research work. Chapter four will go further to portray the presentation and analysis of data based on the questionnaire that will be administered to the staff of the Union Bank of Nigeria plc.
