Abstract
This study involves the roles of women in rural community building in Nnebukwu, women cooperative, in Oguta L.G.A-Imo state. From the researcher's work, it was discovered that rural community women face a lot of constraints in the rural community. The study also pointed at the different roles played by the rural community women in the economy. The study revealed that women cooperatives provide strong support for our economic development. Presently, government dominates our economic and even the few communities heavily depend on them in several ways and some of the ways in which cooperative women have helped to stimulate growth in our communities includes: I.
