The total population for the study consisted of 280 employees. The study adopted Quasi-experimental design, simple random sampling methods was used. A total of 160 copies of questionnaires were administered to the respondents, simple percentage and chi-square (x2) was used as a statistical tool to analyze the research question and hypotheses. The study revealed that there is a significant relationship between autonomy and employee performance. The study concluded that the empirical outcome emphasizes the utilization of job enrichment as a veritable strategy in motivating workers such that they actualize the reduction of employees' withdrawal behaviour.
