Abstract
This study examined the relationship between competence management and organizational agility in the private sector, Rivers State. The total population for the study consisted of 85 employees. The study adopted a cross-sectional survey design, simple random sampling methods was used. A total of 52 copies of questionnaire were administered to the respondents, simple percentage and chi-square (x2) was used as a statistical tool to analyze the research question and hypotheses. The study revealed that there is a significant relationship between competence development and organizational agility. The study concluded that competence management has significantly impacted organizational agility. The study recommends that the organization remains agile and effectively adapts to change, there is need for a comprehensive competence management planning to meet both the present and future needs of the organization....
